RHONDA BUTTERFIELD

Picture
DESIGNER: Rhonda Butterfield

Rhonda Butterfield is a jewellery artist, natural dyer and botanical printer based in Vibank, SK.  In 2008, after taking a Jewellery I class at Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre in Regina, Rhonda found a passion for manipulating metal into wearable art. Since then, she has taken many jewellery classes to improve and expand her skills. She works primarily in her favourite mediums of sterling silver, copper and semi-precious stones.  She is inspired by colours and forms found in nature, and she uses this inspiration to create one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.

In addition to creating jewellery, Rhonda is a textile artist who enjoys the world of natural dyeing and the alchemy of botanical printing on paper, fabric and leather. Her dreams have now become reality and she is able to devote herself full-time to her art.
