DESIGNER: Deb Potter
Deborah Potter completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Education and an Honors degree from the University of Regina. She taught visual art for many years and maintained a practice of producing artwork and being actively involved in the local art community. She served on the boards of Neutral Ground Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Regina and has participated in many exhibitions.
While teaching, she was seconded by Saskatchewan Learning to develop and implement the Arts Education 6 to 8 and the Visual Art 10, 20, 30 curricula. After retirement, she continued to write and research as a developer and co-writer for the interactive website ArtSask.ca. She was also contracted by CARFAC Sask to assist in the development of Best Practices within the Visual Arts Community.
She maintains her studio practice at Flatland Artist Studios where she serves on the board as treasurer.
